Renata Bueno Vieira Da Silva started her career in 2012 at the Bonsai academy in São Paulo, Brazil. She started training with the intention of playing a sport but I didn’t imagine the proportion that jiu-jitsu would have in my life. In her first year of training, she went to compete and really enjoyed the experience. Since then Renata has been competing in all tracks and achieving good results.

Alliance Jiu Jitsu – Vail’s tight-knit, family-oriented environment can be hard to find at another Jiu Jitsu school.

I received my black belt in 2022 at the hands of my first teacher. The alliance welcomed me in 2023 and today I am very proud to represent the biggest Jiu-Jitsu team in the world. My main goal in Jiu-Jitsu is to try to attract even more women to the mat and develop the confidence and passion that I obtained through the sport.

Brazilian nationals champion – 2018 as purple belt
São Paulo Open Champion – 2019 as brown belt
2nd place South American – 2019 as brown belt
2nd place American Nationals -2024 as black belt
